Okay first off, his name is pronounced wah-lay, not "wale". Second, he's from the DMV woo! woo! shout out to my people. LOL just playing! I will not lie, this song is on point. Wale just might have a shot at being a legitimate rapper. You know he was on BET's rising star right? Yeah, he's one of those rappers who really keeps it real. You know how a lot of rappers talk about how "hood" they are or how they're "keepin in real" but they wear all this bling and designer clothes? NOPE! Not Wale. He was up in his video lookin EXTRA regular. He had on a plain white tee that looked like he had it for a minute. Not that there is anything wrong with that, I was just expecting the usual rap video. Not some dude I saw on my way to the Metro cuz that's exactly what he looked like. I'm not hatin.The song is hot but damn. Oh and you know that is Lady Gaga singing and not M.I.A. Until I saw the video, I swore out my face that was M.I.A. Gaga sounds just like her in that sound which kind of upsets me cuz she's supposed to be original. One last question...when did they shut down DC to shoot that video cuz there was NO traffic on the road. Not in my entire life have I seen the streets of DC empty. OMAGOSH this is my jay-yum! Never been a fan of the Ting Tings till I heard "That's Not My Name". I saw the video, it was aight but I LOVES this song! Very pop, lyrics don't make to much sense, but it's catchy,cute and makes me think of surfing in Hawaii. Don't mind the video below just listen!
Very seldom do I hear a song and right away it's my jam. When I first heard this I was wondering where the hell they were going cuz I heard "Boom Boom Pow" and thought "Boom Boom Wow, that shit is wack" Sorry! Some are saying she's the new Beyonce....uh no. I'm not saying that Keri can't sing she can, but her style is different than Bey. Her sound actually reminds me of Monica. Remember her, "The Boy Is Mine" Monica? Yeah, I wasn't really feeling Keri's first single "Turning Me On". She sounded like a fake-me-out Rihanna. But I'm really feeling this jam. Bill O'Reilly, "Michael Jackson is not a black icon"
There has been a ton of media coverage on MJ but I had to post this because it's totally absurd. According to Bill, MJ is not a black icon since he bleached his skin and had white children. Hold the f*** up. So, I guess Ms. Angelina Jolie can't ever be a white icon since she has non-white children? So I can't ever be a black icon since my boyfriend is white? Give me a break. Lady Gaga- The Fame
This chick can really sing. The album kicks off with her smash hit "Just Dance". It's half psychotic, sick hypnotic it's her own brand electronic. "Paper Gangster" has a heavy beat, it's raw and very hip-hop sounding. Gaga changes it up with "Boys, Boys, Boys", which is like an 80's disco dance song and very fun. "Money Honey" is one of my favorites and really allows Gaga to show off her vocals. Her latest single is "Eh, Eh (Nothing else I can say). It hasn't hit the airwaves over here in the states yet but once the video is released, I'm sure it'll make it's way to the top of the charts. If you loce sick beats and getting down, pick up Lady Gaga's The Fame.
Jason Mraz - I'm Yours
Hailing from my home state of Va. is Mr. Mraz's "I'm Yours". I'm not even gonna front like I'm a fan of his music but, I'm a fan of this song. It's definitely a feel good song. It's acoustically bubbly with simple words and a simple message. Life is short; let's not complicate things; enjoy what you've got 'cause it's not that bad.

I know I say every song is my jam but this is my JAY-YUM! This song is so on point it's exact! I sure did make that up but T.I. was really speaking to me in this song. Phew! The music video is real cute too. The girl is straight geekin and that's how I am everytime I hear this song. T.I. is my man but I have a boo and I like to think of him dedicating this song to me cuz he'll let me have whatever I like. Don't hate! Once upon a time it was cool to be Britney Spears fan. So maybe she married a guy that societysaw as a mooching, bum of a loser; had a couple "episodes" and lost her hotness. Nobody is perfect. But I never stopped believing in Britney. During her time off from being a Pop Tart to being a Tabloid Tart, she put out a pretty sick album. Blackout. The sales for this album were horrible and I blame it all on the negative publicity she was receiving at the time. Being the true fan that I am I bought the album and was blown. It's got a heavy bass line and it's very funky/hip hop. It's bad y'all. Check it out!
